I was looking at getting the Thirteen Days R1 but I'm worried that my Samsung 511 isn't the most reliable player in the world where region 1 is concerned.
Can anyone comment on how the Samsung handles the infinifilm features?
Thanks in advance! :)
Rush Hour 2 is infinifilm and plays fine on my 511.

......then again 13 days played terrible with the wide/fullscreen switching all the time as did the R1 15 Minutes on my 709.
Got a dansai now so no more of that nonsense for me :p

Someone was complaining about this with respect to the Twin Peaks boxset the other week. Apparently the solution is to change the Quasi-pal setting to 'off'. I assume you'll have to have a TV that can handle NTSC though.
Oh, and thanks for the advice everyone. Guess I'll take the plunge and order Thirteen Days. :)
