Hello

I've just bought the THX-1138 Directors Cut 2-disc set for £4.00 in Asda, which not only seems like a bargain to me, but it also has possibly the classiest looking dvd cover I've seen.

It's a terrific (if intellectually derivative) film, best thing Lucas has made - why he felt the need to spoil it with CGI (rhetorical question) and yet not include the unbefouled original is beyond me. Still, great movie, great extras.

Excellent movie. Sourced the laserdisc of the original a couple of years back, so now I've got both versions on dvd. The extra bits are just background really and not needed, but it's still an awesome watch.

So what is this akin too? I've always heard about it, never seen it thought, but its always piqued my curiosity.

Going to asda tomorrow, so if i hear between now and then, i might pick it up.

For some a great film but for others like me its one of the most boring films ever and highly irritating. I'd pay money to get out of a cinema showing it.
