Apologies if this has been answered before (I'm sure it must have been, but unfortunately 'DS' cannot be typed into the search engine because it is too short, and all my other attempts to use similar keywords have come up with nothing). Anyway...

I was tempted to pick up Tetris DS at CD-WOW (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.cd-wow.com/detail_results_3.php?product_code=264607&subcat=nds&affid=15561) for £19.99, but I understand the company sometimes (if not always?) stocks US versions of the games. I just wanted to double-check whether this could lead to any problems. For instance, does it search for 'local' (US) players first or anything like that when using the wifi connection? I know the console is 'region free' but just wondered if there were any issues with products being tweaked for their domestic markets, which would make it worth paying a bit extra for the UK verison?

... Other than you can't trade them in at Game/Gamestation as they are 'imports', but then, there is always eBay.

CD-WOW sent me UK versions for my last 3 ds orders and so you may not need to worry

For online games, some only let you play against the same region, e.g. someone with a US copy of a game can only play against other people who have a US copy. Not all are like this though.

It seems to be pot luck - I ordered 2 games from CD Wow a few weeks ago and they sent me USA versions (which were sent back). I ordered 3 games from play.com and they sent 2 UK versions and 1 USA version (which will be going back).
