Just obtained my copy of Night On Earth R2 (after returning the dreadful Shock-concocted R4 to ezydvd for a swift refund!). It's a lovely transfer, as per the DVDTimes review, but...
The playing surface of the R2 disc shows an irregular elliptical ring, like a watermark, about halfway between the centre and outer collars/edges. From everything I've read recently, I'd be freaking out about "laser rot" if this were a dual-layer disc, but it isn't. So this can't be laser rot....uh, right?
Any thoughts?
