I was just looking on CD-Wow (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.cd-wow.com/index.php?affid=15561) and noticed that there are 2 versions of the R2 releases of this. One of them being marked as R2/R4. Whats the difference between the two versions besides the price. Am thinking of ordering the cheapers ones to use up some of the world cup vouchers. Anyone?

Ive got series one R2 and series 2+3 R2/4 from cdwow. I believe extras are indentical, the only difference being the packaging. R2 is digipack, R2/4 are 4 disk amarays.

Horrible certificate logos on R4 like but for me, well worth buying at the lower price!

Cool, thanks for the info mate. I'm still unsure which to get. How quick are CDWow at delivering?

It varies mate, on older titles they are usually very prompt but on newer stuff (esp other regions than R1/2) they can take a while. I ordered S3 of scrubs and it took well over a week to despatch, received two delay emails from them.

Having said that, their prices are superb- so I can forgive them, customer service is also very good.

Another question - why the horrible logos?

Probaley something to do with making sure people know what the rating is of the thing they are buying and with their logo's you cant miss it lol

Season 4 (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000FG69N6/thedvdforums-21)

What is it with the Scrubs dvds and really bad covers? I really hope this one isn't real.

I know! One of the best shows on TV and has one of the worst set of covers on DVD!

Is that meant to be JD's arm holding the light. It either means he has an unfeasibly long right arm, or he has managed to swap his right hand onto his left arm and dislocate it at the elbow.
Just absolutely hideous and atrocious. There must be more than the three cast photos they've used up for the first three seasons on DVD. Maybe all this just highlights the fact that it's criminally underrated and way better than Friends but gets such a shoddy treatment on TV and DVD.

Never liked the way Elliots head was super-imposed on the Season 3 Dvd.. just looks plain odd.

Worse than this, upon getting it in person, you realise that it is infact Dr Cox's arm, from a totally different image :|

I'm thinking of getting a Scrubs DVD for my friend... do you guys have any recommendations for any particular seasons?

Get it in season order as there is a theme running through it.

I've seen quite a few episodes of Scrubs on and off but in no coherent order, so I am familiar with most of the characters. It's just that I thought sometimes some comedies don't really take off until a couple of seasons in and thought that this might be the case with Scrubs and it didn't matter about starting at S1 as it's quite easy to pick up.
