The audio and video are both superb, with the 4:3 picture looking wonderfully sharp, and the PCM mix doing a truly stupendous job on the sound (and a far better one than the 5.1 mix included). The extras are entertaining, if a bit odd; the major one is the ability to watch the concert from three different angles, which is more interesting than it sounds, but there's a fun documentary, some nice music videos, and some priceless footage (albeit all too brief) of Bono addressing Harvard graduates...

I agree with above, but I must say i think the 5.1 mix is excellent, especially when elevation kicks in, ABSOLUTLEY THUMPING!
Anyway, the gig is ace, but does tail off at the end, which I also noticed happening at the MEN, great to start with, but they dont seem to hold the energy all the way through the performance, unlike the sydney show from ZOOTV.
Are they planning on re-releasing this on DVD? Hope so!
CHRIS!
Is Under A Blood Red Sky out on dvd yet?

And while we're at it I want a PopMart tour DVD. Much better than the Elevation shows.
My .037 Euro ...
Great Picture
Great Sound PCM & 5.1
Dire editing IMO - jumps around all over the place especially on the high octane stuff

a great couple of discs, but the "track list" was impossible to navigate on my thomson dvd player, i press left and right, but "sunday bloody sunday" @ 9 is the last track. i'm guessing it works in the dvd rom.
as for the actual concert itself, i cant believe BBC broadcast it on TV @ xmas which really must have eaten into dvd sales? it's got some rather emotional momments that i've seen in dvd concert. and as for bono - he's cruel taking the girl out of the crowd, she wont get over that in a hurry!
also, not every tune is available in the multi angle feature - and the highlight option is white which marks it hard to realise what option you've selected so some poor menu design. you get the normal edited concert view, the view from the audience (of lesser quality), and the cutting room studio where the director stands. no the best choice of perspective, but fun none the less especially on "with or without you" video clip! song's about not quite touching", "oh that's beautiful, right on cue!" lol.
also, what's thrown at bono at the begining of sunday bloody sunday? cant believe someone had the cheek to do that. but all to his credit, professional that he is, he just shrugged it off with a salute and quick "**** you"..

Have to agree about the second disc with the multi-angle feature. Had a quick look on Xmas day and couldn't for the life of me work out how to change the angle! I kept pressing the 'angle' button on the remote, only to be told that 'this operation is unavailable'
Still a decent buy - even though the BBC showed it on telly :(

i too would like a popmart DVD, but i have to strongly disagree with the assertion that the popmart shows were better than the elevation tour. imho, no way. don't get me wrong - i loved the popmart gig i went to, leeds roundhay park in august 1997, but the elevation gig i went to in manchester in last year was even better still.
for that matter, though great, the popmart shows weren't as good as either the zoo tv outside broadcast shows or the previous year's zoo tv indoor tour.
