Are the Canadian Friends sets same as US?

The missus wants to complete the Friends series. We've got all US R1 so far but I'm wanting to economise :razz: Are the Canadian sets the same as the US ones? In particular I want to avoid French packaging...

I don't have any of the R1 sets but you should be fine with the Canadian sets as there isn't a French audio track and therefore no bilingual packaging.

I don't know how many of the seasons you have yet but Warners are releasing the complete series in R1 (again) in another new box with some new bonus bits on Nov 14th. See tv shows on dvd (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=6080) for details.

There are no Canadian R1 sets. They are the same as the US r1s. Even if you buy fromn the US, yhou will see the Canadian ratings logo on the back.

Ah sorry, didn't mean to alarm you, morrisb!
I don't think the individual season releases are changing packaging, just the 'complete' set. They released a black complete box last year and it'll be red this year.
When I said "I don't know how many of the seasons you have yet" I was thinking that if you've only got a couple you might think about flogging them and getting the missus the new complete box with it's extra goodies! ;)
