well, dunno about the dvd release, but BBC 1 are showing the trilogy soon. If ya cant wait, and dont mind some minor cuts, might be a good idea to tape 'em in the mean time.
As for the DVDs.. i hope they each get the works. And that you can buy 'em seperate as well.
Temple of Doom was always my favourite.
yeah, yeah, i know everyone and their aunt prefers Raiders! (which is also a decent movie, but i just prefer Temple of doom, alright!).

The last one was the best by a mile!!
RTE (Irish television network) showed all three uncut last week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday).
Crusdae is the best the Raiders then Temple. But to be fair, they are all brilliant. Best trilogy ever.

I wonder which Paramount will be releasing these titles. The one that supplies bare bones discs or super discs like MI-2.
One thing for sure though, big rip off prices !!
Paramount really need to sort out their price structure. £19.99 for every disc is not right. Warner have a good idea, £12.99 for a basic release.
£34.99 for the entire Indy set would be nice :D
£34.99 for the entire Indy set would be nice
Ahhh how nice that would be, realistically though! £60 or more:mad: completely agree with the pricing, rip off it maybe, but we will pay it, so who are the fools?
Me for one unfortunately.

If it comes in a sixty quid then I WILL NOT be buying it, especially as you could pick up the Five Disc Godfather set, which was also Paramount, for £44.00

The Godfather set was sold off so cheaply because the kingfisher branch brought to many, couldnt sell 'em, and wanted 'em shifted to make room for new stock next year.
Somehow, I dont see the Indy trilogy set sitting on the shelves.

Although... if we don't buy the Indy trilogy from any of the stores in the Kingfisher group they'll then have the same problem as with the Godfather. I.e. 3 months after release they'll be trying to shift them for a ridiculous price...
Lads, I've got a plan. :D ;)

Hope they are re-submitted to the censor. Seeing the uncut Temple of Doom on TV again I was giddy as a school boy. BTW Last Crusade is rubbish.

Actually I have some (spoiler) questions after re-watching Temple of Doom:
How did the big gong roll perfectly to the window acting as a shield? How come Willie was in the perfect position for Indy to grab her and jump out the window? How did Indy know the last rain guard would hold and he would fall perfect into Short Rounds car? How did Short Round position the car so Indy would fall into it? How did he know Indy was going to jump out the window? Why did Willie go with him in the plane? Why did the pilots empty the fuel and jump off the plane instead of just going into the hold and killing Indy? Why did he charter a plane with his enemy in the first place? How come the inflatable boat didn’t once turn over as it plummeted out of a plane, and off a cliff? How come a child escaping from Panchot palace found Indy first and gave him a piece of cloth with a clue on it? Why weren’t the British colonials in the palace eating curry and chips instead of monkey brain and snakes? Why did Willie fall for Indy so easily, and why did he reject her? How did Indy know there was a fulcrum release lever when he was trapped in the room with the descending roof? Why were just the children being used as slaves to dig for a stone? How is someone still alive after getting his heart ripped out, and why did the cut heal? After he turned to fire, why wasn’t his blackened skeleton left in the cage? How does a bit of fire snap Indy out of it so easily? Why does the little prince tell Short Round the correct way to go in the trolly only for Indy to go the wrong way? How can a trolly jump a gap and land perfect on its 4 wheels on the opposing tracks?
I only watched half of it recently so I probably have a proper question or two about the second half when I watch it again.

I'm just following on in the best tradition of the Commando review on the IMDB - thanks MB.
I actually like Temple of Doom. The screenplay is silly and full of plotholes but it is well directed, John Williams score is very good, and without it there would probably have been no Goonies or Young Sherlock Holmes (similar story).
The Last Crusade on the other hand is very silly, badly directed and strives for Raiders of the Lost Ark glory but falls closer to the mire of King Solomons Mines (OK it isn't that bad but expect some nice anal retentive questions asked soon).

True, but as with most films, you can always find holes in the story.
The Indy films have always been great fun for everyone - although the last one was a little boring :/

The fun of older movies loved as a young innocent child, is picking them apart when you've turned into a less innocent adult.
