Does anyone know if it is worth upgrading the R2 for the R1. Great film.

If you are talking about the UK R2 then yes as this was a awful release (4:3).

However I've got the Spanish R2 which is the directors cut and 5.1 sound/removable subtitles and is the correct aspect ratio! I don't have any plans of changing to the R1 release.

fab disc that includes one of the funniest commentaries around!
It's the director's cut version btw (so slightly shorter than the original release version - dunno what the R2 version is?)
