Another quality docu from Mark Kermode (and was great to finally hear Britt Eckland's comments on the film!:D).

As the R2 Warner release of "The Wicker Man" has been put back to April does anyone have any idea whether this docu might be included? - seeing as it has what was most likely Anthony Shaffer's last interview on the subject, it would seem a worthy inclusion (and Warner's have used Kermode's docus before).

ta for any info!

The documentary was nearly 50 minutes long (without adds), but the documentary being included with the new DVD I believe is only 35 minutes along with a 25 minute interview of Christopher Lee!

yeah the specs confirmed for the Warner disc are basically the same as the current Anchor Bay SE (but with the added commentary).
That was before the disc's release was put back so maybe this new docu will be added?
It's a must buy anyway for fans (due to the commentary) but I just hope they can add this new docu to make it the ultimate release.

Can't deny his doco's are good, especially the one on Bladerunner. Shame he's a complete arse when it comes to reviewing DVD's as he seems to know diddly squat when making comments on Radio 5. No awareness of upcoming releases (he didn't even know the Godfather boxset was due for release when asked a question about it!), and seems to like horror flicks period. :(

please let's not let this thread descend into a pro / anti Kermode thread!
Let's just be glad that the docus he does produce on specific films are well researched and well suplimented with interesting interviews from nearly all the major players. Also remember that if it wasn't for him those missing scenes from The Exoricst may still be lost in the back of the Warner vaults!
