Ok, as above whats the best ?

Been reading about the new french one and Im temped as it has DTS & I just got my Amp :nuts:

But can you take off the subs and is it in english the DTS as I have heard some french DVD's arnt.

According to dvdzone2.com, only the French audio track is DTS, not the English one. Therefore there's no reason not to stick with the already uncut, English 5.1 R2 disc.

are we talking about john carpenter's Vampires?

because if we are, i'd hold your horses and get the Special Edition R1 that's soon to be/or has been released..

no idea what the extra features are on this, but an SE will probably have more than the standard editions..

Also, about the R2 version. it has decent transfer, a commentary, an ass kissing "EVERYBODY ON THIS MOVIE IS SO GREAT" type featurrette, and that's about it. alright if you like the movie and can pick it up for a tenner, but i wouldn't pay anymore than that.
