I am having problems playing copywrite DVD on my TV using my laptop (Mat****a UJDA 710 DVD drive, Intel Celeron 1200mhz processor) as the DVD player. The TV and laptop are connected via S-video and audio leads and the TV does indeed correctly display the desktop. I have even been able to play a VCD without any problem. I can also play audio via my TV.
The difficulty arises when trying to play DVDs. The following error message is encountered:
DVD Error - F54564F5. The TV out port of your display card cannot be disabled. This copy protected disc cannot be played when the TV out port is being utilised. I have no problems with the laptop on its own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am using Power DVD 3.0 and I have had no luck also with PC Friendly DVD.
