Guys,

Got Sky HD and have two connections to my TV from it, Scart and HDMI lead.

Now when I watch standard channels using HDMI I see some "glowing" on red colours (particularly noticeable on BBC News). This is not evident through the Scart with an RGB signal.

Is it set up wrongly or is the Scart with an RGB signal better for SD channels? Anyone else noticed this?

Cheers

which TV do you have, Ive heard a similar sort of thing on a a few other models. Seems to be a fault and not something you can tweak away using colour settings.

I've got a Hitachi 32" LCD (32LD7200).

Picture is stunning with fantastic colours. It's just that Sky fro normal channels looks better through the Scart than the HDMI. Mind you, HD through the HDMI looks fantastic

What about when using component? Can you not use component rather than HDMI?
