What about a projector onto white wall, will it do dvd,tv,video,sky,need a 50 inch tv

Ive got some cash for a new TV, thing is I was gonna get a 36inch but feel Ill be fed up with it after a few months like my 32 inch I have now. I was looking at rear projectors but they dont seem to have a good picture quality when Ive seen em in stores. Also they are 40 ish inches which isnt much more then my present tv, so im looking for a tv screen thats 50+ inches. What about these projectors Ive heard about, how much are they 2nd hand, what are the lifespan of these and running costs and also how do you attach your dvd,video,tv arieal to em etc. I have a pure white flat wall, could i use this.. Any websites about this stuff.

Not sure on the specifics of the wall question, but fwiw, I have a rear projection TV (the 43" Toshiba) and it's marvellous! These sets in shops tend to be set up really badly - I did take an element of trust from other forumites here on the quality and they weren't wrong! You should see The Simpsons in 43"!

Depends on your budget of course, but you can pick up the TV I and quite a few others round here have for about 1100-1200 these days - a bargain!
