Having just got a new contract with 3 I've ended up on their Direct Text 1400 (£15 for 18 months) which includes a load of video minutes.

Having never my phones video call capabilities before I was just wondering if the recipient of the call is charged in anyway?

I don't think the person you call gets charged - to be honest, I've had a video call phone for a while now and have only used it for that purpose once! Might be worth checking on the 3 website? Sorry.............. not much help.

I've had mine for almost a year now and its just because my new contract has "free" video minutes that I thought I'd find out.

I have checked the 3 site but can't find anything that tells me.

its the same as a voice call - the recipient isn't charged!

Even though they are sending loads of data too?

I'm on 3 and use video calls and you get charged for making the video call, the recieving end pays for nothing. Same as voice call, you get charged to make the call. But this is presuming you are inthe UK :D

Thanks.

Although I have just realised I have a Nokia 6630 so if I am visible in the camera I can't see the screen!
