Wooooooo Got my first real published work (largeish images)

You probably seen a few threads floating around about a bit of work i did a few weeks back, well the magazine finally came out and to say i am over the moon is an understatment. The pictures i sent them i thought weren't too good and didn't think they were going to use them, but checked today in it and they have used 35 of them :eek: :eek: and to top it all off, i have had more work from them too, had a job on saturday that i did, and another one today (wednesday) to do later on :D Just had a bit of luck of being in the right place in the right time and seemed to be getting paid to take photo's of cars :D being able to combine the two hobbies is great fun, but to be getting paid for it too :notworthy :notworthy

anyway, here's the scans from the magazine, sorry they dont quite line up, but you dont miss much, and its a bit late and i cant be bothered to do them again, dam lazy me !! They are linked to some rather larger versions, of about 1mb, 2mb, and 1.6mb.

I managed to get to Rotorstock for a few hours on the Monday, in the end, and was pretty diappointed with it. Apparently I was not theonly one. My car club (RX8OC) even left early because of the poor turnout, which added to my disappoitment, as I missed them.

hehehe thanks for all the comments guys, i still cant quite belive it, but the magazine is sitting infront of me. And two more articals due for next month at the mo :notworthy :notworthy

There is sooo many people on this forum that post better pictures than me which is one reason why i cant belive they are using me, but i am not complaing. Just got to pimp yourself out, it all steamed from coming up with a blag to get some press passes for the Bournemouth Winter Rally in Feb.

eklipze i guess you mean the size of the pics, sorry they were over two pages, but had adverts on 1/4 of part of the page, so i just cropped them out, as you probably dont want to see them.

Highlander I am sure i'm not, i bet damien has loads of work done for example, but he's a pro, not a blagger like me, so he doesn't show off about it :p I would have been the one walking around in the blue press bib on monday, or the one almost throwing my camera across the strip as the jet car went down and i didn't have any ear protectors on :p

kool kool GJ, i'll be wondering around with my mate who's a hell of a lot taller than me with spikey hair, i'm 5`10", but i will probably have the 70-200 2.8 on at somepoint, so you cant miss that beast.

What's the deal with ownership of those shots given you were there on behalf of the mag? My mate with the black S2k was asking if I could get hold of your photos to pass on.

not entirely sure at the mo mate, would have to ask, been meaning to, as thinking of another little side project i can do with the shots. I know Nick the organizer wanted a copy of them, but yeah not too sure if i can just hand it out. will let you know when i know more :)
