Anyone know of a hack for a 'MINOKA' DVD PLAYER?

Mate got one for crimbo(never heard of minoka!)anyway he says he cannot play region 1 discs,anyone have any idea if there is a remote hack??.................TEL

The Minoka is exactly the same as the Dansai 852 and its clone, the Naiko. In fact it has the same front as the Naiko and the same back as the Dansai.

How to convert your Dansai DVD852 player into a multi-region compatible machine


To convert this player to Multi-Region
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the Stop button on the front panel of your unit
3. Press the Previous button on the front panel of your unit
4. Press the Next button on the front panel of your unit
5. You should now be in a secret menu where you can change the region from 1 to 6, or Bypass for region free
6. You can also disable Macrovision from this menu
