Firstly, is this a good player for £200 and where would you suggest buying it from?

Secondly, How do i find out if my TV is compatible (See below)

When playing region 2 (Pal) discs this player will output in standard Pal - Compatible with all UK TV's. When playing region 1 (NTSC) discs the player will output in either NTSC 3.58 or Pal 60Hz- Compatible with most UK T.V's but check your T.V's specification's before ordering.

My TV is a Philips 24PW6322/05 Widescreen , I can't find out if it's compatible so don't want to order the Player yet.

ANy help greatly appreciated.

regards

Andy

A top player it is indeed - highly recommended. Check out www.homecinemaheaven.com - excellent site as well as a site sponsor so doubly good!

As for the NTSC, I see that your TV is a Phillips TV, until recently, Phillips didn't bother with NTSC as they built their sets for the Euro market and thought that their customers didn't need it! - if your manual makes no mention at all of it then you may be out of look unless a fellow owner can help.

But if you're gonna use a RGB scart cable, you don't really have to bother with PAL or NTSC or have I been furnished with the wrong info thus far?
