Selling sky digibox

Hi,

I have a question about selling an out of contract sky box. I know that the cards are locked to the box, and don't want to rip anyone off by selling a box that won't work.

If someone else uses their card with the box, would they just be able to call sky and get them to activate their card?

Sky will provide a new card if requested.My old man has a free to air card which Sky will activate when he gets a new box(old one knackered)
