I havn't found any stats for the US or UK box office takings though.
I think this movie will easily make more money than Harry potter. I don't know whether it is just becuase of the Holiday period but I went to see this last night (8 days after release) only to find that all 5 screens were sold out. This is the first time I've ever seen so such demand for a movie over a week after launch.
Plus the Sun etc are claiming it's one of the top 10 films of all time.... looks like it'll run and run.
