Since the uncut version has a BBFC video certificate, there's no reason Channel Four would have made any cuts.

I watched it all on CH4 and I can't remember the baby popping out of the nurse. We saw the nurses stomach grow and then in the next scene the baby was in a radio or something. It was late so I may have missed a bit through tiredness.

Are you sure? Because in my experience Channel 4 are exceptionally good when it comes to these sort of things (unlike certain other channels, cough ITV cough).

They sometimes even go out of their way to screen uncut versions, e.g. they re-edited Caligula, and they recently screened a 'special uncut version' (according to Mark Kermode anyway) of Cronenberg's The Brood.

And as MB points out Braindead has an 18 cert uncut anyway, so I'd be very surprised indeed if it were cut.

I taped it and watched it today, don't remember the baby coming out of the nurses stomach at all. Never mind, it was a top film, much better than Evil Dead, which I saw for the first time yesterday.
