I'm thinking of sticking my old subwoofer on Ebay. So I need a carrier to ship it to any potential buyers. Any recommendations?

If you want guaranteed compen if there's a problem then go with 48Hr Parcel Force www.parcelforce.com (you can arrange everything online). It may be a tad more expensive but I normally pay it. If it's something cheap then I'll go to my PO (cheaper 3-5 Parcel Force) or another courier.

Parcel2Go use Parcel Force so if it's good enough for them... And remember Parcel2Go is where your contract lies and not PF is you use them.

you sure about that, parcel2go carriers are usually City Link / DHL

well its in my experience.

Stupid question, but if I wanted to use Parcel Force, do I just take it to any Post Office? Also, is 'Royal Mail standard parcel service' the same as Parcel Force? (I have a heavy item I'm thinking of trying to sell too).

Cant go wrong with staples as long as the value is under £100

PF's website does the 48Hr (or better) service only AFAIK.

Going to the PO gets you most of those services too and the cheap "3-5 Day". IME Parcel2Go (and other middle men) use the cheap "3-5 day" which makes me wonder why PF can't supply that to potential customers via WWW. PF did do a £9.99 pickup service via Ebay and other sites so it's worth looking around.

I use Staples. Good for up to 31.5 Kg for £8. Have to take it there though, but I pass it onthe way home from work.

Thanks matey :) went into my local Staples with a parcel and was out of there within 5 minutes. much easier then waiting for a courier to pick it up from home as it's sods law that when you pop out for 5 the damn courier will come knocking at your door to collect.
