Shrek problems

I've a Lecson 900 and I am experiencing problems with Shrek on chapters 11 to 17 (it pixelates and freezes), then it plays ok. Anyone else got this problem or is the disc faulty?

Funny you should mention this, but a friend of mine is having problems with Shrek too. It freezes at around the 50 minute mark.

I have the lecson 900 too but I have the R1 version of Shrek and it works fine. I'm going to ask him to give me his version to see if it works on my lecson.

Will let you know how I get on... but it sounds suspect.

Have you upgraded your firmware for your lecson? If not, ask the debenhams store where you purchased it (my friend has upgraded his to the latest firmware).

Ok well, I got my friends version of Shrek last night and I started the film around the 48 minute mark and played it for a good 20 minutes. It played fine.

I then went back to 35 minutes and played the film to the end. Again, no problems.

If your viewing the R1 widescreen version, might it be getting stuck at the layer chage which occurs at about 53:20

Exchanged Shrek at Asda yesterday and new disc plays fine although the problem was at the layer change!
