Home recorded DVD problems

My brand new bottom of the range Bush DVD recorder has been merrily recording discs since Christmas, but no-one else can play them, even my multi region player that's never rejected anything before. Is this going to be a problem I have to live with, or might trying another make of disc (+R) help?

Are you making the discs compatible once you've created them?

If you have finalised the discs and that isn't the problem, this might be:

"bottom of the range Bush DVD recorder ".

...and its hardly "brand new" if its been "merrily recording discs since Christmas" either. :nuts:

Thanks - sounds like I need to look up 'finalise disc' in the instruction book!
