Order from Techtronics at your peril - you have been warned.
I have to admit as never ordering from them, but the slaggings I have read on this and other forum boards means I would never order from them.
I better question on these forums is 'I have a budget of £500-£600, I need a player, and amp and some speakers. What would you recommend'. I would put my house on the fact the system you ended up with would be better than the one offered by Techtronics.
Good luck

Don`t forget the VAT! Its not a bad little system, we did a lot before xmas under the bargain forums... Certainly comparable with a NSDV55 / 77 / 88, but the amp is a bit weedy. I`d recommend you hear the speakers on another amp first, for example omit the VSXC300 and add the marantz SR4200 (cost about £50 more then the above).
Hope that helps

How bout the VSXD510 or 710? Thinking of getting that (not quite bothered with DPL2 on the marantz atm) and maybe the S-V31W set of speakers.
Might even email you later on if/when I decide on my choice. :)
