Having looked around I have narrowed the choice to three DVD players...

1/ Pioneer DV444 for £200 (Multi)

2/ Toshiba SD210E for £190 (Multi)

3/ or should I just go and buy a multi region for £100??

Advice appreciated.

Smi1er,

I have a Toshiba SD210e and find it very good. The only minor niggle is that it has a slightly noisy mechanism that you can hear during quite passages in movies. If I were buying again I would go for the Pioneer DV444 in this price bracket. (Mind you I got the tosh as part of a deal with my TV for just over £100 so can't complain too much)

cheers

I going for the Pioneer but have to check my TV can cope with PAL 60.

DVDMagic want £195 but want shipping and VAT on top. I've seen this unit for £200 delivered to your door and will post details as soon as I find out who offered this.
