Hey all.

Up for renewal on vodafone, and have been offered the following:

Nokia 6280 - Free

75mins (Stop the Clock) + 100txts - £16pm inc VAT - 18 month contract
125mins + 250txts - £18pm inc VAT - 12 month contract (no stop the clock).

How do those sound? I can get better by porting my number elsewhere but I do like the vodafone network, and it would save hassle on redeeming cashback vouchers etc...

What do you all reckon? The above are from speaking to the retentions department, so nowhere higher to haggle with...

If you really don't want a cashback deal they sound ok to me. I'd go with one of the 12 month free deals over those anytime though.

sounds OK, although theres better deals elsewhere. If you want to stick to Voda take the 12 month deal. :)

Not particularly impressed by either offer (and I just saw online that the first offer is only a standard rate anyway- so no loyalty bonus there at all!), but the hassle of redeeming cashback (+ being out of pocket in the meantime) is too much for me to bother about at the moment.

My bills are about £18 at the moment (£15 line rental), and that's mostly txts which would now be included, so I'm going to go for that one.

Thanks for helping me think it through!

Vodafone are useless was on contract with them for about 5 years and each year they went down hill even getting a signal was a pain in the ass.
