Is the LG 4710 any good ?

I can't find a review of this player anywhere.
The shop i got my Sony NS300 has one of these which i would like as it can be made region free with a remote control hack but can't find a review for it anywhere.
Does it have good sound and picture compared to the Sony ?

had mine working fine. picture and sound excellent on both original and silver discs until today for some reason silver discs will only play in black and white, so beware

I have purchased one for my parents and it was excellent for £128! Plays all regions inc RCE discs. Have reccomended to several other people who are also very pleased with the player.

For the money it's a great player and will take some outgrowing. Build quality is good, fairly nice design, picture/sound is very good. A fine multiregion player.
