"No Place Like Home" Paramount 2

Paramount 2 are showing the 80s BBC sit-com "No Place Like Home" starring a young Martin Clunes, from the 9th of June onwards. I don't think this has been shown for quite a while - I'm probably wrong! I have fond memories of this and am looking foward to seeing it again. I don't think I've seen it since it's original broadcast. Series 1 comes out on DVD on the 3rd of July.

Paramount 2 are also showing the Anton Rogers sit-com "May To December", which I also haven't seen in years - I think Series 1 is out on DVD though, and "Brush Strokes" both starting on the same day too.

I think they probably did when it was the "old" UKGold when they used to show all the old sitcoms. Ah, the good old good days! Now it's all recent stuff.

I certainly haven't seen it in a while, and had pre-ordered the Series 1 DVD. It's nice to see it repeated as if it's not as good as I fondly remember then I can cancel my order. I'm sure it will be though as these were back in the good old days when the BBC made good family sitcoms, unlike today - Home Again, anyone?
