I am after a cheap 28" Widescreen TV, and have seen that HED (http://www.hed.co.uk/showitem.asp?CAT=50&PID=2321) are selling a BEKO 28416NDS for £243, empire-direct (http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?MODELCODE=DAE-DWX28W5GB) a Daewoo DWX28W5GB for £270 (both inc postage).

Which TV is the "better" of the two - I need a TV that can handle a
NTSC 3.58 and 4.43 signal type, as well as PAL (will be playing an
imported GameCube on it, as well as DVDs).

Does anyone have either of these sets, and can tell me what they are like? (build, sound, picture quality, esp with NTSC playback, etc)

Or are there any other cheap (and good) sets out there?

cheers.

I bought a cheapo Goodmans WS28SNS a while back, and after the experience I had with that (basically its utter pants for DVD.) I would recommend spending a little more if you can.

I got a Toshiba 28W93B from AudioandVisiononline.co.uk its only £359 and is well worth it.
