View Full Version : Xbox 360 - Why can't i change the PAL Settings?
Just bought Hitman which requires switching the Xbox to Pal 60 mode - The problem is that my Display menu only has options for HD Setting (480p, 720p and 1080i) and a ratio option - not "PAL options" as all the manuals say it should have - i'm totally bemused and can't work out why my console doesn't have the switching option...anyone else had this problem and how do i sort it out.....there are several other games that have this requirement so i'm **** off if i can't play other games.
i had this happen couple of days ago.
what i did was plug the cable into the scart of a normal tv and switch cable that goes in the back to normal rather than hi def. once i had done this i could go into settings which it mentions, and change to pal 60. then put normal cables back and hey presto it worked.
had me puzzled for a while to, happened when i downloaded demo of the outfit, wouldnt play even tho i was running in 720p and not pal50.

You didn't need to do this. You could have just switched it to Normal and then switched it back to HD without unplugging anything.

Yea, just flick the switch to normal on the back, change the option to PAL 60, then go back to HD.
Thanks all, that worked a treat :)
