No remote is worth £700, IMO.

This....... is very true.
Of course, I wouldn't be paying £700 for it :D

So how much would you be paying then? ;) If its cheap enough, can ya get me one too? :)
From what i've seen and read on Remotecentral they seem good, but as baps said, not worth £700.

QED (http://www.qed-uk.com/?i=u1RaY0h23Ak3&bg=108&bp=970s&v=8) have it for a bargain £505!!
Well after years of people pleading with Philips for a Pronto with 'hard' cursor keys...what do they give us??
I'd hold out for the Marantz.
There is the Pronto Neo which is out in the US (not sure about here) has much more hard buttons than the Pronto (and buggy software apparently)
Just got my 2mb Pronto for Xmas from those dudes at Richer Sounds and am very happy with it. Why anyone would splash all of that cash for a colour version is beyond me. Why not pick up an IPaq PDA and normal Pronto for the same amount of cash but more fun.
Unless there is something so unbelievably funky about the Pronto Pro?
