The technician from TW should lay new cables (splitter, etc)for your 2nd AD box.
I have got the second box.
I just dont want to pay £15 a month extra for something i may never use.
I take it there is sutch a thing as a spliter, This is all i need but where do i get one.

All boxes remain the property of Telewest. If you have a box and are not paying for it, you are committing fraud at best, possibly theft or handling of stolen goods at worst. It may be appropriate to close this thread...

if it is digital cable, then the box might not even work, they can be swtiched on and off from there main computer.
a friend of mine got NTL they laid all the cable conected all the wires, and the box didn`t work, they tried 4 boxes none worked, the fella called his office, and the boxes he had were not signed out to him, so they wouldn`t work, had to drive back to the base, pick up more boxes bring back, then wire in, THEN did some stuff to a hand held comp that phones there comp that unlocked the box.
so if you bought it 2nd hand, #1 is stolen #2 it wont work and #3 when you wire it up, it tells there comp it`s wired up, and then you can expect a call from them, and maybe a £5,000 fine.

also the cables need to be attenuated to set up the impedance correctly, so as not to affect the signal. If its a digital box, then it can't be connected without telewset knowing its there as all boxes are encoded and employ duplex communication.
just like that film by ang man
