Prologic 2

I have only recently got an AV amp and found time to put the rear speakers up to complete the 5.1 setup.

Over Xmas and boxing day I watched Toy Story and Antz (on the BBC) with the Prologic 2 processing. From a standard stereo source I was very impressed with the depth and feature the PLII added to the sound tracks.

I even left it on when watching Casualty and Jonathan Creek, and again it sounded very very good.

I know it can muffle the dialogue from certain sources but for what you get out from just the left and right channels inputs can you really knock it?

DPLII has interested me because of my fondness of programs with prologic sound. Apparently DPLII's limitations are dependant on the care taken by the manufacturer. Better quality kit makes a much better fist of DPLII than the lower budget offerings.
