View Full Version : Is anyone doing any DVD marathons today?
I'm just starting a DVD marathon today. I'm going to watch as many films as I can today, as there isn't much else to do.
I have just started The Graduate, the excellent Momentum Region 2 version. :)
No I'm in work you ******* !!!!
But I've taken the whole of next week off instead :)
Paul.
Funny you should say that... Current plan is
Currently : Bottom Live 2001 (Which is crap and I'll probably turn it off in a min)
11am : Live and Let Die SE
1:30pm : Sound of Music
3:30pm : Dumb and Dumber
Go out for Curry & Beer :D
8pm : Way of the Gun
10pm : Requiem for a Dream
I was very seriously thinking of buying Bottom Live 2001: An Arse Oddity actually.
The Graduate has just finished. Time for some lunch, then onto another DVD. :D
I haven't had a DVD Marathon for months. The last one was all the Nightmare On Elm Street Films Back To Back.:brickwall

Don't lie, you watched them over several days, inbetween going to work.:p :p :D
You not funny sunshine. Yes that was when I first got the box set but then I had the marathon run 2 months later on a Sunday.
SO THERE!
Least I got the elm Street box set.
:p :p :p :p :p
So did I. But I cannot play the bloody thing because of a fault in the DVD player. :(
Anyway, I have chose Dawn Of The Dead for my second DVD in my marathon. It's the Dutch FilmWorks release, disc 1, director's cut.

Yeah!, well theres no accounting for taste is there.
By the way who was going to order the R2 boxset, before a certain person convinced him to get his player chipped, so he could get the superior R1 set.:p :D

You've picked a bad day for a movie marathon considering both Bill & Teds Bogus Journey & Wag the Dog are on TV today.

Bought Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey for my brother for Xmas. Classic film :) Will be watching Wag the Dog after Godfather part 2 tonight!
Watched The Big Lebowski and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest already today. Plan to carry on with Bridge on the River Kwai, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Taxi Driver and whatever else takes my fancy... :D
I am about fifteen minutes away from finishing the director's cut version in the Dawn Of The Dead 2-disc set. I took a long break at the middle.
I've not seen the theatrical cut, but I prefer the DC over the AC, but the DC is overlong and too stretched-out for my liking.
