Does anyone have a Pioneer DV-444 or had one, I am thinking about replacing my Xwave LB-1000.
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Don't own one myself but they are very highly recommended by magazines and owners alike. Justin at Upgrade Heaven (one of sponsors of DVD Forums) rates as the best pound for pound DVD player he stocks.

got one for a mate and played with it for a while, as john316 says, excellent player for the money. Probably one of (if not the) best entry level (non budget) player there is :)

I got one to replace my Scan 2000 DVD and I honestly could noyt believe the improvement. When people talked about DVD picture quality I thought they were exagerating although I thought my old player was good at the time. My new poineer just blows it away. It looks gorgeous too.
