hi, i got a cash back contract with o2 through the links last year, signed on 16/06/05 and i have been gettting cash back since by sending out the bills quarterly. However, i don't want to continue my contract and just want to get the last cash back.
when do you think I should canx my contract? Is it a 30-day rule i.e. tomorrow to cancel it on the 16/06/06?
If i canx it tomorrow would i have the last bill on 16/06 so i can send them to the links to get the last cash back?
cheers guys

suppliers? i was just thinking the same thing, i need to send in bill 12, which should be generated 14th May, and i can cancel today as that would give them 1 months notice and i;d be outside of the 12 months.

mine is with 3 though, not 02, but still THE LINK

I had to give 3 a months notice to cancel my contract so suggest you call them tomorrow...as you should still recieve your bill to forward for cashback.

3 months??

just spoken to 3 and they will make mine a PAYG phone from 15th june so i can buy top ups, they offered me some okay deals to stay but none would beat the free cashback ones so i shall have to move contracts.

I recently ended my contract on Orange. I rang them for a PAC code about a week into my last month - this then acted as my notice period, no matter when I transferred the number throughout the 30 days that the PAC remained valid, they'd charge me for those t 30 days. I then waited for my last bill to arrive which I sent off for my cashback, and then transferred my number. So in the end I wound up paying for a week's worth of line rental that I didn't use, but I got to keep my number.

Once i have a new cashback deal i'll ask for the pac, then have to move it to some free sim, and then onto the new deal, as that would probably be with 3 and i know I can't go 3 contract/payg to 3 contract.

I knew those free sims would come in useful sometime. DO i have to put the free sim in a phone though for it all to work? I have an old nokia kicking about somewhere.

now, good cashback deals to investigate this afternoon :D
