Sony DVP NS300 or LG4710

I just bought the Sony but have now found out it will not play R1 discs :( (i thought there would be a handset crack for it). I remember the shop i bout it from had the LG 4210 which i have found out can be made region free.
Is this a good player ? Should i swap the Sony for it ? I CAN play region 1 discs through the PC but i've just bought a Pro Logic 32" wide screen telly and would like to play the dics through that :D

just got one of these for xmas excellent picture and sound quality and yes the region hack works fine set to r1 will play r1 r2 and rce without any problems so far hope this helps
