Finished seasons 1 & 2 on DVD.

Anyone know when DVD seasons 3 & 4 are coming out in the uk?

I need these.... FAST!!!

Pretty much all of them on there are 'R2' or pirates as they are known around these parts.

S3 and 4 pop up on the classifieds from time to time. I'm waiting on 4, but have no doubt it'll show up sooner or later.

The R1's are 4:3 instead of the usual ratio, but you won't even notice after about 3 mins into the first episode of S3 and, eventually, I found I ended up prefering the 4:3 as it had a more handheld sort of feel to it.

Funnily enough, the one episode on the series 4 set, the extended "Back to the Barn" episode which is shot at 1:85 is the only one where the aspect ratio looks wrong because it's virtually all close-ups of the actors' faces - and would have looked better shot at 4:3. The intentional grain on the DVD picture can take a bit of getting used to as well, especially on a HDMI feed. Series 4 was going reasonably cheaply on dvd.imports (an online dealer some people have had problems with).

ordered season 3 off ebay.... says its region 1.

Here's hoping its original although its coming from maylasia so i'm not overly confident. :thinking:

I checked his feedback 99.7% positive so I may be lucky. They're region 1 which makes me think they're ok as I know its not out here yet. Plus, it comes sealed and the picture shown has the cover embossed, plus the hologram. Still, they're clever people these pirates!

There's a lot of Region 2 copies however, which I know are just bobbins!

Amazon.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/thedvdforums-20) seems a safe bet for season 4 at a decent price. :thumbs:
