After pondering the photos, a varied selection around the theme for this round and I have made my selection. Thank you to all who entered and apologies if you don't get mentioned, do try again in the next round.

Honourable mention to RobDickinson, Cat and Sam (who missed out on a placing by a whisker)

Third place: johndavis0 with a somewhat chilling representation of the mysterious sixth sense, though I guess he 'knew' no one else would try this. Nice one, three eyes. ;)

Second place: Radiohead and the simply titled "Touch" A great shot and you know she's going to try as hard as she can to catch every last one of those bubbles.

and that brings us to the winner...

1st place: Highlander with his "reach out and touch"

An impressive composition and an exposure that captures anticipation of the moment. It also really comes alive when viewed on a properly calibrated monitor (though I still think it looks like a still from a Zombies vs. Aliens from the Deep).

Thanks to everyone who entered and over to Highlander to pick the subject of round 38.

Well done everyone - I had a couple of ideas, and some possible shots, but bottled it when I saw the standard of the entries :/

 Thanks Boink! I'm in shock!!

Photo was taken at the London Aquarium.
TBH, it was a bit of an accident. I was purely trying to capture the ray (anyone what type of ray it is?), but when I looked at the picture and saw the hands, I thought it looks pretty cool, as Boink! said in a zombie type of way. BTW, the picture was taken handheld at ISO3200 on a Canon 20D. Yes, there's noise in the picture, but I think it's perfectly acceptable for ISO3200.

I suppose that means I have to think of a subject for the next round
Hopefully get a thread up by the end of the weekend. I warn you now, I'm not very technical, and will just chose the one that catches my eye.

Great choices  I especially love Radiohead's shot - which is no small compliment from me because I generally hate photos of 'other people's' kids!!!! Am attempting to play it cool about getting a mention... whilst secretly running around the room whooping...
