Tonights show at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam has been cancelled. We've just been informed of the sad news that Phil Selway's mother has died. The show has been postponed for now. Management stated that a new date is not yet available. However, it looks like the band will reschedule for August 28th.

Our condolences go out to Phil and his family.

Update: For those who are worried about the upcoming UK shows. Please wait for further announcements as no decission has been made about those shows at this point. More info soon.

Great news about the gigs being on, though sad for him and his family

actually, reading the atease forums there still seems to be some speculation as to how true that statement is. Nothing on the official Radiohead site to say whats happening either way at the moment...

There must be a few people who went to tonight's gig. So we should know by the morning.

Just a quick headsup, tickets are onsale for both Wolverhampton gigs at See Tickets (http://www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp?e%7Cartist=RADIOHEAD&resultsperpage=20&filler1=see) at the moment :)

Just to point out to any scummy would be ebay touts, its box office collection only, so you'd have to actually do some work ;)

All gone.

They were great last night in Blackpool - a suitably weird and left field venue. What a crap hole Blackpool is though. :D

Loved them playing Black Star and My Iron Lung (not seen them live playing those before).

Only disappointment was no Karma Police. Great new tracks though, can't wait for the new album - any sign of a release date or anything yet?

Im off to Hammersmith on Thursday, cant wait. I got to hear Karma Police at Koko's in Camden a couple of weeks ago though :D

As for the new album, I heard somewhere (although cant remember where!) that we wont see it this year. Yorkeys got a solo album coming out in July, gawd knows what thatll be like though! http://www.theeraser.co.uk/

As kohoutec said, RH album won't see the light of day until 2007 now, with Thom's album due out July (2nd by all accounts)

Apparently an all electronic affair produced by Godrich, he played one of the tracks 'Cymbal Rush' at Koko a couple of weeks ago with Johnny. Thought it may have made the new RH album when I first heard the bootleg, but the tracklisting released today for Thoms album has it as the closer. Another track from it 'Black Swan' is used in the closing credits for A Scanner Darkly, as well as a couple of other RH tracks.

Some really nice merchandise on sale during this tour too including a fab, roughly A3 size embossed, art folder containing 9 prints of HTTT artwork for just 10 english pounds. Got them framed in the lounge already. :D

[COLOR=Red]They played it tonight. It was one of the best. Sorry. :)

Yes - it seems that they only duplicated about 7 tracks between the two nights. And, you got a completely new, never heard before anywhere track.

Seems it was a much more KidA/Amnesiac centric night, where Friday was more OKC/Bends focused. It's made me think about going along to Wolverhapton to try and pick up a ticket for Tuesday is everynight is going to be so different. :dork:

Agreed

Yes, nice.

They played it tonight. It was one of the best. Sorry. :)

I was confused about (Karma Police) that and agree with every one of the comments. We ended up staying at the Big Blue Hotel at the pleasure beach and had to walk the 'chav' mile and brave the supertanker size backsides on the young 'teen' ladies that were walking hand on glass, three abreast, preventing the trams moving.

probably fairly high if you're willing to pay an extortionate price to a tout outside..

what did you lot think of willy mason?

I didn't see any touts last night. I have for previous Radiohead gigs.

Having had a think, they definitely played The Bends and My Iron Lung and another track from the Bends, probably Black Star, at least I thought so at the time but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

TBH I'm rubbish at remembering concert tracks.

I quite liked one of the new ones which I think was called 'New'.

For those that have been so far, what have been the showtimes.

And support - is there any? I'm off to Wolverhampton on Tuesday.

2 Wolverhampton tickets went on eBay (http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-582776-5826355) earlier for £87.

Pairs of tickets for other venues are on for £90-£150.

I think Radiohead came on at about 8:30pm after Willy Mason.

I've got agree that Blackpool is a right dump, one of the craziest places I've ever been to. I couldn't believe that there there were tickets for the Saturday show on sale at the box office! Maybe that's why there were no touts about?

Here are some photos a friend took at the Friday night gig by the way.

On Saturday, Thom was wearing a U2 WAR t-shirt as worn by Bono in the Red Rocks gig Under a Blood Red Sky circa 1983.
