Start > Programs > Startup > Right-click and delete the shortcut.

Check if its in the startup programs there

Why has it started doing that? What have you installed lately?

just clearing the rubbish of a m8s laptop and one of the niggles is that Outlook starts up when you turn on the laptop.

its not in the startup menu and its not in the Start - Run - Msconfig


bit of a head scratcher.does outlook have a setting in a menu somewhere to get it to do this?

Download Windows Defender from Microsoft site - run its software viewer and it'll give you a list of all programs set to run on startup, you can the disable and/or remove outlook from that list...

Startup Control Panel will tell you what programs load at start up, and you can disable them as well suing this.
