Lord of the Rings animated on Wharfedale 750s

Got this for my Mum for Xmas, everything was fine up until about an hour in. Picture started pixellating and then crashed the player. Anyone else had this problem? It's R1, could it just be the disc?

I've got a Wharfedale 750S and the picture on my animated R1 LOTR is fine - just watching it again actually, and have just got to the hour mark (entered mines of moria).

Sounds like the disc mate:(

Thx for that Pompeyfan, now I have to fill in this ********* return sheet :( My mum prefers this version to the live-action film!
