i remember watching a really good jackie chan film on c4 ages ago when they were doing a kung fu season but i can't remember the name of the film. In the film involves a guy who only uses his left foot to fight with, he fights chan at the end of the film for quite a long film and jackie drinks some kind of drug to make him stronger and eventually defeat him, another part of the film i remember was when jackie was fighting in a long chinese kind of dress. Anyone know the name of this film, i thought is was drunken master but i got it on dvd yesterday and found that it wasn't the same film
Snake in The Eagles Shadow perhaps?
The Young Master. (99.9% sure :D )
It starts off with a big chinese dragon festival/fight.
Still got it on tape from the C4 season.
HKL release late next year.
dave.
Sounds like Drunken Master to me!

yes it is young master, i just checked it out on imdb, pity about the wait for it to be released on dvd, do you know if hkl have a website? i thought the dubbing of drunken master was good and suited every character, do you know if Snake in the Eagle's Shadow dubbing is any good from hkl on dvd?
sounds like DM2 to me as well, although I haven`t seen young master.

I'm only 90% it's Young Master, as it's been 9yrs since i last watched that film!!
There's no chance that it's DM2 chaps, as i don't think it's ever been broadcast on terrestrial TV!!
Here's the HKL Website (http://www.hongkonglegends.co.uk/) Baz. The English dub for DM was not recorded by HKL, it's an old favourite that HKL just used!! Please don't take DM as an indication that all HKL's English dubs will be good, as some are awful!! (I know that the English dub for Game Of Death 2 is a fan favourite as well.)
I haven't heard SITES' English dub, so I can't help you there.

Apart from Drunken Master, I can't really think of any English dubs that are preferable to the Canto/Mandarin tracks. I had GOD2 for xmas so I haven't seen it yet, but i know that the general consesus is that the English dub is a good un for that.
HKL's English dub on Once Upon A Time In China is ok, as is Dimension's Eng dub on Legend Of Drunken Master, but the Cantonese track are still preferable to those.

You are correct!
It is Y.M and the super-kicker in question is Whang In Sik.
It will be released by HKL in due course, and is in the same style and league as DM1 and SITES.
