I had seven episodes of West Wing recorded onto the HD of my RH-7500.
Before writing them to DVD, I decided to use the built-in feature to edit the episodes to remove the ad breaks, which seemed to work fine.
Once I had edited all seven episodes, I went back to episode 7 and played it just to check it worked, but at the first ad break, it went through to the second part of episode 1, not the second part of episode 7.
The machine then froze, and after about a minute, I turned it off.
On starting it back up, I now only have two episodes of West Wing on there... all my other ones seem to have vanished.
So beware if you have one of these machines and are thinking of editing the ad breaks out... it isn't worth the hassle.
