Just wondered if anyone could help me clear up a tax question going on from the recent budget.

I currently have a Nokia 3210i phone from work, however I have also got a blackberry provided via work - its the 7290 with a nice big screen.

From the recent budget, I understand I may now be liable to pay extra tax for having the blackberry as a second mobile device? Can someone clarify that for me. My employers say its now a taxable benefit :(

If you use it soley for work it should just be a work expense, which they're paying for so has no affect on your income whatsoever - if you use it for yourself as well, it will have some small taxable benefit to you. I wouldn't have thought it'd be worth the bother, tho I don't know how much these things cost!
