I have saved the dep for a Plasma screen:) I'm going to buy it over 3 years now that the prices have come down, do any members have a plasmer screen? if so can you recommend?
cheers Steve
Yep, Panasonic 42", great picture and loads of inputs. Looks brilliant even when it's switched off!
A word of warning, you'll need a surround processor which can adjust the lip synch as plasmas induce a slight delay on the picture.

Is this the "norm" with all plasms? I've not heard of this and I have never heard of a processor that can adjust the lip synch, well I got left behind somewhere:) I had better get some new mags and the info needed before I can move forward,
cheers Steve
I believe it applies to all plasmas it certainly does to the panasonic. Check it out for yourself, it's not difficult to notice.
I think Lip synch adjustment is fairly standard, again my processor does it.

A mate of mine has the 42" panasonic and is well happy with it. I was certainly impressed when I saw it. No mention of the delay though.

HI I have the following plasma Fujitsu's PDS-4214 42"
Im very happy with it. I have my amp, dvd, video, cable box and pc all running on it.
I got it from http://www.nexnix.co.uk/ £4600 inc vat
The only thing that i dont like is that you can hear the fan when the volume is turned down.
as for lip synch it has no problems that i have seen and iv watched about 100 dvd's on it
