Deccavideo DDV-2110

Just picked up a Deccavideo DDV-2110.

Does anyone know of a region hack for it or if there is a rebadged player the same?

A picture can be seen of the player on www.powerhouse.co.uk under the dvd section.

I have found the hack !!!!

Use the same hack as the Dansai DVD852.

It works a treat!!!

Hi, i've got to talk somebody through this hack over the phone.

Presumably you swapped previous and next for ff and rw.

Can you give me a step by step run through as to what will be displayed during hack.

I've tried talking them through the Dansai hack but nothing happens.

What should they see.

1. Press the Setup button on remote control

2. Press the Stop button on front panel of DVD player

3. Press the Next button on front panel of DVD player

4. Press the Previous button on front panel of DVD player

5. You should now be in a secret menu where you can change
the region from 1 to 6, or Bypass for region free

6. You can also disable Macrovision from this menu.


Prevous and Next are the jump to next/previous chapter buttons not FF and RW

Went round there in the end. No probs doing it.

Can you confirm that this is the same machine as the Dansai?

It looks very similar and is similarly specced.
