Question for Justin (Sub Hum )

Justin,I bought A pioneer superslim from you on friday.I get hum from the sub-woofer.It hums even if not connected to the amp.I have noticed that there are other people with same model sub and same problem.Is this something that I have to accept or is it faulty ?
