Moulin Rouge DVD problems?

Okay, so maybe it's time for me to get a better player (still got an old Wharfedale 750 :rolleyes: ), but I noticed a few problems with my R1 Moulin Rouge disc when I watched it yesterday. During the first half of the film there is some pixellation and sound break-up, but when I rewind and watch the same scene again, the problem doesn't always repeat itself. This also appears to happen with the extras on the second disc.

Does this sound like a problem with the player, or has anyone else experienced problems with this DVD?

I have heard talk of people having problems with the DTS soundtrack (being out of sync) but nothing about the picture breaking up, etc
I suggest you try it on another player, if that's an option
